The McKittrick Hotel Parties

The McKittrick Hotel was a 6 story building best known for hosting the immersive theater hit “Sleep No More”. The “Hotel” did not rent rooms, but had three speakeasy-inspired restaurant/event spaces - Gallow Green, The Club Car, and Manderley Bar. A large portion of my work for The McKittrick was involved in campaigns for seasonal masquerade parties. Each of these campaigns included email blasts, posters, postcards, and props for the event. In addition to these masquerades, The McKittrick had a rotating run of shows in the Club Car, including Bartschland Follies, Flight, At The Illusionist’s Table, and more, as well as concerts several times a week. I was also tasked with creating seasonal menus for Gallow Green, The Club Car, and Manderley Bar.

This poster was for Inferno, our annual Halloween masquerade. The theme for this year’s Inferno was “neon circus”. We hired an illustrator to bring my ideas to life – our Illustrator Courtney Brown created the individual pieces of this poster, while I handled the layout, animation, and lighting.

Mayfair 2018

A poster for The McKittrick Hotel’s Midsommar themed party, Mayfair. Party-goers are instructed to wear botanical themed attire, or all white. I worked with public domain imagery for the main figure, and created the dress and background animation using vintage botanical illustrations.
