"Sponsored By…" was an installation I created at Bard College. This project seeks to immerse the viewer in a fully commercial environment, leaving them on a merchandising scavenger hunt. Just like advertising, for every unconcealed logo, there is a logo the viewer is likely to have missed - “Sponsored By…” seeks to engage the viewer on both conscious and subliminal levels. The patterns covering the room are comprised of over 100 corporate logos.
Just about every surface in the room is covered in corporate logos.

I upholstered furniture with a custom-made fabric consisting of three repeating mandalas of cars, fast food, and liquor.

Just as the wallpaper and fabrics were created entirely from corporate logos, so too were the wall art.
